Part 1


It was Saturday 6am and michael was up early to get breakfast for his wife, and then make sure the house was in spic and span condition.
Saturdays are special in the Green household and there was a lot to get done before 6pm dinner time, as that is when his wife Stephanie Green's friends arrive to have dinner, and then play their weekly bridge game.

michael's mind started to wander back to why, how and when he first met Stephanie Green.

michael was the marketing manager for a multi million dollar company that was owned by a man and his wife in their mid twenties who were college sweethearts. John Smith was a chemistry major in college and his wife was an english major, they married as soon as they graduated college, and shortly after John developed a perfume that he patented and it became a huge success.

John and his wife liked michael and after a year with the company he was promoted to marketing manager. michael was invited over to the Smith house on many occasions, but on this one particular occasion while having cocktails michael had one drink too many and thinking he was funny said some insulting things to John’s wife Sandra, her husband John overheard the remarks but didn't say anything to michael then as he didn't want to start anything in front of his other guests.

When all of the guests left, John turned to his wife and said, I will fire michael Monday morning as soon as he shows up for work. John's wife Sandra said NO you wont, you will transfer him to the west coast division where we made my college roommate Stephanie Green president of the west coast operation. Sandra said I will call Stephanie first thing tomorrow and fill her in on everything. Sandra then went on to remind John as when they were in college and his fraternity brought over a couple of pledges to Sandra's and
Stephanie's sorority house for an initiation which consisted of cleaning their room and getting paddled by both of them as Stephanie consistently found something wrong with the job that the pledges did. Stephanie knew how to wield the paddle and after having the pledges drop their pants and underwear, she went to work on their bare bottoms, she had no mercy for the pledges. After inspecting the pledges bottoms when Stephanie was through, I held up a bit when it was my turn to paddle them. When the pledges got back to their fraternity house they had to show their bottoms to the fraternity brothers to prove that they were paddled by us, when the brothers saw the blazing bottoms of the pledges were the color of a rainbow, they became alarmed that the pledges would turn them in to the dean, but that never happened.

John's ears perked up and said that's a great idea Sandra, and by the way Sandra, you were no slouch swinging that paddle then, and you sure still swing a mean paddle today. Make sure you tell Stephanie to give him the works and to report to you on how things are going. I can't wait until Monday.
When Monday morning came michael was called into John's office and michael was concerned that he did something wrong, either at work or at the cocktail party and was hesitant on going to John's office.
michael thought long and hard to try to remember if he did do something wrong at the cocktail party, but he couldn't think of a thing, so off he went in to see John.
John's office door was open so michael walked in and said hello John, John stuck his hand out to shake michael's hand and said, michael I have a wonderful opportunity for you, I'm transferring you out to the west coast office, that is, if you're interested in going, John knew that michael always wanted to live on the west coast and get out of the bad winters on the east coast, michael jumped at the chance and said when should i leave. John said to make all of the arrangements and be out on the west coast and ready to go to work next Monday, is that ok with you? michael said absolutely OK boss, and then he went home, made plane reservations for the next day, and then began to pack.



Part 2


michael arrived at his hotel on Thursday afternoon and after unpacking, he then went down to the dining room, ate and had a couple of drinks and then went back to his room, he went straight to bed as he was tired and excited at the same time.

Friday Michael rented a car and took in the sights, he did the same thing on Saturday, Sunday he just stayed at the hotel and watched television. He was very excited about being on the west coast and at the same time he wondered how the staff would react to having a new marketing manager.

Monday morning michael got up bright eyed and bushy tailed, all ready to set the world on fire on the west coast.

michael got to the work place and asked the first person he saw where the President's office was, he was told to go straight ahead to the office where the sign on the door said, Miss Marie Johnson, Secretary to the President.
michael walked in the door and saw a young girl about 22 or 23 and said my name is michael and i'm here to see Stephanie Green. The secretary said, she is expecting you, have a seat, I'll tell her you're here. The secretary called on the intercom and said Stephanie, michael is here, Stephanie said have him wait, I'll see him in a little while.

After about 15 minutes Stephanie buzzed the intercom and said Marie, send him in please, I'll see him now.

michael walked into a beautifully decorated large room with lots of cut flowers and sitting behind a huge desk was a woman that appeared to be in her mid twenties she was the most attractive he has ever seen, she had a look about her, and the way she carried herself michael was sure she was the one with in authority, not only here but anywhere, she was one that you didn't want to cross.

michael stood there and waited for Stephanie to say something and it seemed like it was forever before she stood up and extended her hand to shake, michael took her hand and he trembled a little and Stephanie said are you cold or nervous about the job?

michael held her hand for longer than necessary before he let it go, she then went back to her desk and sat down and then she said to michael, you may sit down.

Stephanie, got on the intercom and said Marie please come in here, Marie replied, yes Stephanie. When Marie came into the office Stephanie said, Miss Marie, this is michael, michael this is Miss Marie, my right hand, and any orders from her are to be accepted as if they came from my lips.
I'm going to put you in Miss Marie's hands now, she will show you around and introduce you to the rest of the staff and show you the ropes, he's all yours Marie, take him away. The way she said that michael felt like a piece of property, someone that has been put in his place from the getgo.

michael said, Marie i have a question, Marie immediately responded and said michael, all of the females that work here are to be addressed as Miss so and so, for instance I am always to be addressed as Miss Marie by you and never make the mistake of calling Stephanie by that name, ALWAYS call her Miss Stephanie, michael said, you call her Stephanie, Marie said the females can call her Stephanie, but a male may NEVER refer to her as Stephanie. michael then said what if i accidently or purposely call her Stephanie, what will happen. Maria said try it and see what happens.
Marie then went on to say, let me give you some of the "MUST ALWAYS RULES", I already gave you one, I'll repeat it though, ALL females are to be addressed as Miss, Never answer back a female no matter what the reason, always be respectful, polite and obedient to the female staff.
Never enter my office nor Miss Stephanie's without first knocking and wait to be acknowledged before entering. The same goes for any female member of the staff. These are the most important rules to remember, we'll get into more when the time comes, now let's go meet the staff.

Miss Marie went to the closest door, opened it and said Helen, this is michael, Helen said nice to meet you, michael said nice to meet you to Helen, Marie then cleared her throat and michael immediately said, I'm sorry Miss Helen for inappropriately addressing you, it won't happen again. Marie said in a quiet whisper, if you know what good for you, make sure it doesn't happen again, michael didn't know what to say.
Marie went from office to office walked in and repeated the same introduction to all of the female staff, he also noticed that all of the desks had fresh cut flowers on them nicely arranged, and all of the female staff was in their early twenties,
michael had to ask why didn't Marie knock on any of the doors before entering, Marie said, females don't have to knock. Marie then said, well you have met all six of our important staff members, michael said are there any male employees that work here. Marie said, oh I forgot poor david, you'll meet him another time.
Now let's go back to my office, Stephanie will want to see you. When they got back Marie called Stephanie and said we're back, Stephanie told Marie to have michael wait, she'll send for him when she's ready.
Marie then told michael to go get her coffee and one for himself if he wanted one as Stephanie will be a while. Marie didn't ASK michael to get her coffee, she TOLD him to get her coffee, michael almost said what do you think i am an office boy, but he wisely said nothing, after all it was his first day, he asked Marie where the coffee was, she said, go down to the end of the hall and go into the office, the coffee is there, you don’t have to knock, just go in, he went and brought back coffee for Marie and himself, Marie said you may sit down michael and drink your coffee.



Part 3

After waiting for what seemed like an hour Stephanie, called Marie on the intercom and told her to bring michael in.

Marie told michael that Stephanie would see him now and she took him into Stephanie's office and closed the door behind them.
Stephanie said, well what do you think of our little office michael, does it meet your expectations?
i love the layouts, sizes and the fresh cut flowers in the offices Miss Stephanie, i also noticed all of the staff have their own offices.
Stephanie said, yes michael, i find it's more productive for the females to have their own offices, the privacy they provide helps them think with out interruptions.
I take it michael that Miss Marie has explained all or most of the rules to you, has she not? Yes Miss Stephanie, Miss Marie most generously spelled out most, if not all of the rules and i will try to abide by them.

Miss Stephanie shouted out NO, YOU WILL NOT TRY TO ABIDE BY THEM. YOU WILL ABIDE BY THEM. michael was all shook up as he didn't expect Miss Stephanie too admonish him in this manner, especially in front of Miss Marie, then he remembered what she said about Miss Marie being her right hand and has almost as much authority as Miss Stephanie, of course Miss Marie only has the authority that Miss Stephanie allows her to have.

It's getting late michael Miss Stephanie said, so why don't you go back to the hotel, have something to eat, get some rest. Take tomorrow off and find yourself an apartment, just then Marie said there is a vacant apartment in my building if you're interested I'll tell the manager that you want to see it. michael said that would make it a lot easier than looking around for an apartment in a city that i know very little about.
Marie then said if it's alright with Miss Stephanie I'll take off tomorrow and show it to you. Stephanie immediately said, of course it's alright, we want michael to be comfortable, don't we with a chuckle.

Part 4

The next morning michael heard a knock on the door of his room at the hotel and when he opened the door it was Marie, michael said good morning Miss Marie, it slipped his mind that Marie was going to take him to her apartment house to look at an apartment for rent. He asked her in an told her he had not had breakfast yet and would she join him for breakfast at the hotel dining room.
She accepted gladly as she said there was no real hurry as they both had the day off and her apartment house was not too far away from the hotel.

They went downstairs and ordered breakfast and then they got into some small talk. Marie said I'm glad michael that you remembered your manners and addressed me as Miss Marie, the same rules apply whether we are at work or not.
Also michael, I want you to know that there are penalties for forgetting your manners, michael quickly asked, what penalties Miss Marie, she answered, I don't want to get into that at this time michael, but I will tell you that the penalty will more than fit the transgression.
Just behave yourself at all times michael and you will get along fine with all of the staff.

They ate their breakfast and Miss Marie thanked him for the breakfast, but when the check came, Marie took it, michael said i have it, you are my guest, Marie said no michael I have it, Stephanie would skin me alive if I let you pay the check, she paid it and then said, we should be on our way now michael, and they left the dining room and went to Marie's car and she drove to the apartment house where she lived.

Marie called the apartment manager on her cell phone and told him they were on their way too look at the apartment and he was there when Marie and michael arrived.

Marie and michael looked at the apartment, fortunately it was furnished, michael said he liked it and would take it and then asked the manager when he could move in.
The manager said he could move in today if he wanted too and michael said that was great and he would go back to the hotel to check out and get his clothes. Marie helped him move in and said, michael don't you think that the sofa would look better over there, she pointed to a different spot than where the sofa was presently set.
michael laughed and said typical woman, has to move furniture around and said, Miss Marie, i am your servant, just tell me where you want the furniture placed and i'll put it there, Marie chuckled and said, good boy, now get moving.

After the furniture was placed where Marie directed it to be, michael said it really looks great, thanks for your guidance Miss Marie, i don't know what i would have done without your wisdom and good taste
It's time for a late lunch Miss Marie, would you honor me with your company for lunch, Marie accepted. After lunch was over Marie again picked up the check and as they left the restaurant, Marie said, why don't you turn i your rental car before we return to the apartment house. michael then asked Marie how he would get to work without a car?

Marie said, I live in the same building as you do, did you forget that? I'll drive you to work for now and later if you decide to buy a car maybe I'll sell mine and you can drive me to work, and then she laughed, i said it's a deal.

When they got into the apartment Marie said I have a bunch of dishes left from last night, roll up your sleeves and start washing them, I'll be watching the news.
michael was about to tell her too wash her own dishes but he thought better of it and after all, she did help him all day and besides for some reason he feared that she would make him pay for not obeying her somehow at work, how he didn't know but somehow.
michael remembered what Miss Stephanie said about obeying Miss Marie as she was her right hand and i should accept anything she said as if it was coming out of Miss Stephanie's own mouth, but i didn't know just how far i should go and i thought it best to do as i was told until i found out a little more.
After the dishes were washed and dried Marie told me to put them away in the cabinet and then make a pot of coffee, which i didn't hesitate to do.
Marie then told me to serve the coffee in the living room and to brink a cup in for myself, again i did as ordered, when i brought the coffee into the living room Marie said you may sit down and watch television with me and drink our coffee.
Marie was a different person than she was when we had breakfast and redid the apartment furniture, she now took on an air of superiority, even at her young age i dared not confront her.
After coffee she said that she was tired and her feet hurt, she then moved over and sat in the recliner chair and took off her shoes and then told me to come and massage her feet, again i almost told her to go to hell, but didn't, i went over and i had to kneel down in order to massage her feet, after a long time massaging her feet she fell asleep in the chair. i quietly left her apartment and went to my own.
While in my apartment i started to think, massaging her feet wasn't really that bad and i kind of liked being under someone else's control instead of them being under my constant control, it took a lot of pressure off me.
I wondered what Marie would have done if i wouldn't wash and dry her dishes or massage her feet, i thought that maybe the next time she gave me an order like that i would refuse just to see what she would do about it. i fell asleep thinking about Marie and me on my knees in front of her massaging her pretty and sweet smelling feet, then it dawned on me, of course they smelled sweet, we sold perfume and it was obvious that she had sprayed our perfume on them. i bet all of the staff did that. i then fell fast asleep.



Part 5

michael woke up to a knock on his door, it was Marie and she said good morning, it's too early too leave for work now and besides I'm not quite ready, but i wanted to make sure that you were ready at exactly 7am. michael said, yes Miss Marie, i'll be read, will an hour from now be ok Miss Marie? She responded yes, I'll be back in an hour, at 7am, don't be late. That's another rule, never be late without a very good reason. michael was glad that he spent the day with Marie as he got used to calling her Miss Marie and he was sure it would save him a lot of grief.

Marie was back knocking at michael's door at exactly one hour later, 7am, michael answered the door and said, you sure are punctual Miss Marie, Marie responded that every one that works for Miss Stephanie had better be punctual or start looking for another job.

When they got back to the office Marie took michael directly to Stephanie's office, she opened the door without knocking and walked in. michael noted that she didn't knock before going into the office but he didn't say anything. Stephanie said good morning to Marie and michael and they said good morning back. Marie went on to tell Stephanie that michael liked the apartment that Marie took him to see and he moved in immediately.

Stephanie said to michael, I'm glad that you found one so quickly, michael responded, yes thanks to Miss Marie, she also lives in that same apartment house and i feel at home there with her living so close. Stephanie said, Marie is very helpful and efficient, that's why she's my right hand and my advisor, she also has other duties which you will find out later, always listen to her and you can't go wrong.

Stephanie then told michael to go to his office and spend the rest of the week there making up a chart that shows the sections where they now control the market, and the sections that should be explored. She then asked Marie if michael met all of the staff, Marie said, all but david, I forgot about him. Stephanie responded with, I wonder how in the world you could forget old david, and both she and Marie burst out laughing like mad. Marie said I will take him down to meet david now, he should be in one of the staff's offices as he usually is there to start the staff's day off right. michael wondered what the big joke was and they left Stephanie's office.

Marie and michael went from office to office and peeked in and at the last office, which was Helen's, Marie and michael walked in and said good morning and asked if she saw david this morning, Helen said he's busy at the moment, I went dancing last night and my feet hurt like mad and he's under the desk giving me a nice foot massage. Marie told Helen, when he's done tell him I want to see him, we'll be in his office waiting. Helen said, why don't you wait a second, I'm finished with him for the time being, he just has too put my shoes back on.

A second later david's head popped up and he said good morning Miss Marie, Marie didn't say good morning back and i thought it was odd and rude, but there seemed to be a lot of odd things going around in this office. Marie told david to come along and we left the office with david following, Marie told david that he may walk along side of us and he did.

We went to david's office which was a fair size, it was the same office that i got the coffee from my first day on the job. There also was a copy machine and a six or seven filing cabinets in it also. Marie then said to me, michael this is our david, i gave david the customary greeting, that i was glad to meet him and he responded, likewise. Marie then told david to tell me his office duties.

david's face got red and he started out by telling me that he is the all around office boy. Marie then said, tell michael your duties as our office boy and don't hold back as he is one of you now. Again i thought what the hell does that mean, i'm one of him now, and again i didn't say anything.

david then went on to say that he runs the copier, does the mail, runs errands for the staff and things of that sort. Marie was starting to get impatient with david and said, stop beating around the bush and tell him your other duties. david said yes Miss Marie, i'm sorry if i offended you. he then went on to say that it was his job to make sure all of the offices had fresh cut flowers daily, had a fresh pot of coffee ready at all times, Marie seemed to be very perturbed and cut in on david and said, I don't have all day david, now tell michael what you were doing in Miss Helen's office when we went in.

david said that he was giving her a foot massage and then he hesitated, again Marie had to cut in and say, what else do you have to say about your job david. david was silent and looked pitiful, Marie said I am losing my patience with you david, david then said that one of his duties was to give the office staff foot massages, and also lick their feet if they so desired at least twice a day, i could see a tear in david's eye as he was the most embarrassed and humiliated man i have ever seen. Marie then told david that she wanted to see him in her office right after lunch and david said, yes ma'am, i will be prompt, Marie said, you had better be, or it will be the worse for you, and then we left the office.


Marie accompanied me to my office and told me that i had better get to work and she would see me at quitting time and she would take me home. i asked her if we should ride to and from work from now on, and she said of course, I thought that was a no brainer. I'll come and get you when I'm ready to leave, wait in your office for me.

i worked on my assignment the rest of the day and lost track of the time when Marie came into my office and said, my oh my, you are a busy little beaver, aren't you, I and I know Miss Stephanie likes that. Remember, idle hands are the devil's work shop, and then she chuckled, and we left the office for home.

On the way home she asked me if i could cook, i told her that i did a little cooking but i'm not the greatest. Maria laughed and said, we will go to my apartment and I'll let you cook me a nice light dinner, she didn't asked me, she told me, i was getting used to not answering back or questioning anything that she or Stephanie said, i just did it.

When we got back to her apartment, i whipped up an egg omelet with whatever i could find in her refrigerator and a small salad.

When we got finished eating i made a pot of coffee and then we went into the parlor to have our coffee and watched the news. When we got finished drinking our coffee i said, well i think i'll call it a night and she said to me, where do you think you're going? i told her i was going to my apartment. Marie then said, how about the dishes? i said, i cooked, i thought you might wash the dishes, she said, DO THE DISHES NOW!! She frightened me and i thought that i had better do as i was told, i said, yes ma'am, i'm right on it, and i did the dishes. After i finished i asked her if there was anything else i could do for her and she said not tonight, good night, I'll be at your door at 7am SHARP. See you then.

after i got back to my apartment i started to wonder what was going on, Marie was ordering me around like i was her property do do with as she pleased. i then thought it wasn't so bad that she was aggressive, i started to kind of like it and at the same time i thought, hell i was the marketing manager and she was only a secretary, why should i do what she tells me too do. i set the alarm, i wanted too make sure i was ready when Marie knocked on my door.
