Sharpe's Heels Part 1

Karen Sharpe was elated. She had just recieved notification that her small business loan had been approved, and would be funding within the week. There was so much to get ready in a short amount of time. She had to stick to the business plan submitted to Women's Development Bank (WDB) and be open for business at the beginning of September.
 
She was opening her city's first shoe store catering to women with wide soles and calloused heels. Karen was certain of success with big earnings projected within the first year of operations. The idea had first come to her when she was studying for her MBA at Athena University. Nearly all of her classmates were professional, feminist, hard charging and well heeled career women. She noticed how most women had heels that were hardened and flattened by the shoes they wore. Karen knew that these busy careerist women had neither the time nor inclination to pumice their ever-hardening heels and soles.
 
She also took notice of their footwear. In more traditional, sexist parts of the country, women took care to hide their calloused heels in shoes which covered their feet entirely, but not at Athena University. These women wore slides, mules and sandals which could be slipped off their feet quite easily while studying or in class. These women simply did not care who saw or who was offended by their rough, thick bare heels and soles. The women professors at Athena University were probably the least self conscious. In fact they seemed quite proud of thier well heeled feet.
 
It was in her second year in Graduate Business School that she decided to complete the entrepeneurship program and open a shoe store upon graduation catering to the needs of her classmates and other women. Ms. Sharpe knew she had a built in market for this business and she expected to have many customers. Her only problem was she needed to find a submissive male or female to service the customers' feet. The job would require the servant to work very close to mature women's bare soles.
 
After realizing this. Ms. Sharpe hired her lover and mentor from the university, Alicia H Kornheel, MBA as her human resources expert. Ms.Kornheel had done her thesis, under the tutelage of Professor Gloria Steinhorn, on male employees in the female dominated workplace. Ms.Sharpe felt, quite correctly, that Alicia Kornheel knew how to bring a male employee 'to heel'. She would be in charge of hiring and training new male employees. Ms. Sharpe stated to her partner in no uncertain terms that any male employee must be submissive and well trained. And the question of who to turn to for fully foot trained male submissives. 
 
The women had to look no further than Prof. Gloria Steinhorn, head of the Entrepeneurship Dept. at Athena University. Ms. Steinhorn's professional background was management and human resources, and at Athena University she taught the graduate level course in "male management". This course was designed to teach women business owners and executives the methods of 'handling' male secretaries and employees. Prof. Steinhorn's heels were legendary among the faculty and students in the School of Business. They were the thickest and hardest callouses anyone had ever seen! If she wore shoes at all, Prof. Steinhorn typically chose narrow, backless wooden slides, which slapped heavily against her hardened bare heels when she walked.
 
There was a rumor, among the students in the entrepeneurship program, that this authoritative woman had fully foot-trained her husband, her own son, and her son-in-law. Apparently she regularly 'rented out' her husband as a footslave to her friends, had arranged for the marriage of her son to an older, dominant, and well-heeled female executive, and occasionally 'borrowed' her son-in-law from her daughter as her own personal foot servant. Both her son and son-in-law had part time jobs, as a sculptor and a masseuse, respectively. Ms. Kornheel believed that if the rumors were true, she had found her first two employees of 'Sharpe's Heels".

(ideas for a part 2: Karen and Alicia have their own boyfriends 'broken in' by Prof. Steinhorn to add two more employees and Steinhorn sends her already broken husband and a newly recruited male intern to solve the immediate staffing problem; Karen and Alicia do a 'run through' of a typical browsing/foot-service/purchase scenario with members of WDB present)
